The B.Duck brand is known for its vibrant personality and playful nature, with intellectual property narratives being an integral part of its identity. Beginning with the humble image of a yellow duck, its story is filled with emotion and boundless imagination.


B.Duck was inspired by the story of a real plastic duck that was lost at sea. In 1992, a cargo ship from China was en route to Washington, D.C. in the Pacific Ocean when it encountered strong winds and huge waves, and the container overturned in the sea. 29,000 plastic ducks began a twenty-year journey around the world, 10,000 of which drifted toward the North Pole, and the remaining 19,000 drifted south, passing through Japan, Australia, Indonesia, and South America.


Mr. Hui, our founder, was inspired by the story and so B.Duck was born in 2005 as a gift for children. Therefore, he put his own hairstyle on B.Duck, coupled with a pair of clever eyes and a cute smile, which laid the foundation for the appearance of B.Duck. Thus, the iconic B.Duck character was born and the retail business of B.Duck's specialty consumer products began.

In 2010, B.Duck began licensing the characters. Up to now, B.Duck has more than 400 licensees and over 30,000 SKUs of licensed products at home and abroad, and has accumulated more than 100 shopping mall themed events, with an average of 1.2 million people per event, reaching 240 million people in total.

In 2022, B.Duck became the "No. 1 Chinese IP in China's Character Intellectual Property Licensing Market" in terms of revenue by virtue of its strength in character design and promotional licensing services. In the same year, B.Duck Deying Holdings International Limited (stock code: 02250.HK) was listed on the Main Board of Hong Kong.

As the duckling won the hearts of people, its popularity grew. Over the years, B.Duck has evolved and grown, and the image of the little yellow duck has become a symbol of friendship, courage and optimism. Through continuous innovation and a rich product line, the B.Duck brand has incorporated this adorable image into a variety of lifestyle products. These products include backpacks, toys and apparel.
